Itsthewigs Exchange Policy

At Itsthewigs, we are dedicated to ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. We gladly offer exchanges within 30 days for all unused, unworn, and unaltered wigs. If the hair quality, color, or length does not meet your expectations, please contact us at service@itsthewigs.com to initiate an exchange, and our team will be happy to assist you.

Exchange Policy Guidelines

To qualify for an exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The item must be in its original condition—unused, unwashed, and unaltered.
  2. The exchange request must be made within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  3. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the wrong item was shipped or there was a clear quality issue at the time of delivery.
  4. Returns without prior communication will not be accepted.
  5. Customers must contact our customer service team to initiate an exchange.

1. Can I exchange my wig?

Yes! As long as your wig remains unused, unworn, and unaltered, we are happy to process an exchange within 30 days of delivery.

2. What is the exchange period?

You can exchange an unopened wig within 30 days of receiving your order.

3. Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Yes, buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • You received the wrong item.
  • There was an obvious quality issue upon delivery.

4. How do I exchange my wig for a different color?

It’s simple! Email service@itsthewigs.com with your order number and the new color you prefer. We will provide you with detailed return instructions and the correct return address. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process the exchange.

5. Can I return my wig without contacting you first?

No, you must contact us before sending back an item. The return address may differ from the original shipping address, and we require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) to track and expedite your exchange. Unapproved returns may not be processed.

6. When will I receive my exchanged item?

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will ship your replacement.

  • Order processing takes 1-2 business days.
  • US orders: Estimated delivery within 2-5 business days.
  • European orders: Estimated delivery within 3-7 business days.

7. Why can’t I exchange my wig after using it?

Human hair extensions and wigs are considered sanitary products. To ensure the health and safety of our customers, we do not accept exchanges on opened or used items. Many hair extension suppliers follow the same policy for hygiene reasons.

Itsthewigs is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling or maintenance, including but not limited to:

  • Hair dyeing
  • Over-bleaching knots
  • Excessive heat styling
  • Exposure to high-temperature water
  • Use of harsh hair products
  • Lack of proper hair care

We do have a team of professional hairstylists who can help resolve certain issues, but service fees may apply.
